Race to the Base is a 13.1 mile trail race through some of the Highland's most wild and beautiful scenery.
A combination of rough terrain, steep climbs and wild conditions make this a unique and challenging race - one not to miss!

Explore Scenic Highland Trails
Starting in Lochinver, a pristine fishing village on the world-famous NC500 driving route, the fully way-marked trail winds its way past pristine lochs, deer-filled glens, heather-spotted moorland and sparkling rivers on its way to Suilven, one of Scotland's most loved and most iconic mountains.
An out-and-back course, the return route treats you with gorgeous sea views as you approach the finsh line on Lochinver's stunning harbourside.
When - 11 / 05 / 2025, Registration 09.00-10.30, Race starts at 11.00
Route - 13.1 miles, mix of tarmac and rough track - fully way-marked
Terrain - Challenging in places, with 1400ft elevation gain
Where - Lochinver, Highland, Scotland, just off the world famous NC500
Entry - £30, includes Water, Finishers Medal and Exclusive Race to the Base Snood
